Social Pathways: A Community Engagement Methodology

SPACEs is a placemaking methodology foster inclusive and sustainable practices in two urban areas of Mediterranean regions, namely Gaziantep, Turkey and Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion among diverse local communities through creating and transforming green spaces.

We seek to create environments that facilitate meaningful social interactions, ultimately fostering a sense of attachment, mutual trust, and spatial belonging among community members.
