Piyasa Politika ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Kıskacında Kadın Emeği
Bu raporun amacı, toplumsal cinsiyet ve gruplar arası ilişkilere odaklanarak, Türkiyeli ve Suriyeli kadınların ev dışındaki ücretli çalışmaya katılımlarının belirleyicilerini ve etkilerini anlamaktır. Bu anlama çabası; makro politikaların, siyasi ve ekonomik bağlamların ve toplumsal cinsiyet rejimlerinin kesişiminden doğan bir analiz perspektifiyle yürütülmektedir.
Çalışmanın hedeflerinden biri, kadınların ev dışındaki ücretli istihdamlarının belirleyicilerini ve çalışmaya devam edip etmeme yönündeki kararlarını ortaya koymaktır. Bir diğer hedef ise Türkiyeli ve Suriyeli kadınların işbirliği deneyimlerinin ırkçılık ve yabancı düşmanlığı üzerindeki etkisini kavramaktır.
WOMEN’S LABOR IN THE GRIP OF MARKET, POLICY, AND GENDER
The objective of this report is to understand the determinants and impacts of Turkish and Syrian women’s participation in paid work outside the home, focusing on gender and intergroup relations. This effort to understand is made from an analysis perspective that is generated at the intersection of macro policies, political and economic contexts and social gender regimes.
One of the targets of the study is to reveal the determinants of women’s paid employment outside the home and their decision on whether they will continue working or not. Another target is to comprehend the impact of Turkish and Syrian women’s collaboration experiences on racism and xenophobia.
